3rd Session
We are going to start writing the dialogue. Each group will choose one situation and propose a dialogue about it.
1. Restaurant role play
- Entering the restaurant. A family comes into the restaurant, the waiter/waitress welcomes them, leads them to a table and offers the menu. S/He may want to suggest some typical dishes, day specials (out of the menu), seasonal dishes, .....
- You have chosen what you want to eat but your child is allergic to something, the father is on a diet, you ask about the ingredients and decide to change or not.
- You have finishes your menu and you want to ask for desserts and/or coffee.
- You ask for the bill. You need some explanations, you do not understand what "cover charge" is, you don't agree on some prices and ask for the menu again.
2. Role play. Tourist office.
- Entering the tourist office. A family comes in to get information in order to organise their stay in Donostia.
- There are four different information points where you can be informed about accommodation, places to see/visit, places to eat and organized trips within and nearby the city.
- Considering the family's needs, budget and tastes, family members will be offered different options available at the office and they will choose the best options at their convenience.
