It is time to create our updated version of "Romeo & Juliet".

We will have 3 Acts and we will use a narrator to give coherence to our play.

​

Introduction by Narrator.

​

1st Act: Romeo & Juliet meet at the Party and fall in love. When the party is finished they find out their families are enemies.

​

Narrator introduces new setting.

​

2nd Act: Romeo "kills" Juliet's cousin (why?) and her parents decide to take measures for Juliet's future (marrying a 13 year old daughter does not seem very logical nowadays)

​

Narrator helps us follow the thread.

​

3rd Act: New End.

​

Brainstorming: ideas for these 3 Acts:

We will first sit in groups and try to think of ideas for our version. We will write ALL ideas on the blackboard and decide which ones we like best.
